The danger climate change poses ranks alongside all-out war with modern weapons of mass-destruction. The irreversible damage already done will continue to worsen for as long as we fail to act. The threat of economic destabilization ranks alongside climate change as one of the most significant threats to humankind. The extreme polarization wealth, political power and access to fundamental resources is at the root of virtually all human conflict. Trends in each of these areas are worsening by the day. Organized Power’s climate change objective is to secure the action we need—locally, nationally and internationally—to minimize devastating impacts of climate destabilization. Our goal is to raise awareness about the gravity and urgency of the threat from climate change, and to organize an effective, grassroots-powered response. Organized Power aims to bring together as many people as possible who support our broad aims of pushing for urgent action on climate and reducing global emissions.
