Milani, an Iowa highschool student, received special recognition in the Bake to Give: Maddie Kruse Youth Award program in 2023. During the chaos of Covid, she was able to donate over $1000 to the Alzheimer’s Association by baking cookies and cupcakes, and she hasn’t stopped baking since. Milani does all her baking from scratch and continues to expand her outreach in the community. If someone you know uses baking to make a difference in their community, they could be eligible for the 2024 Bake to Give Youth Award. The submission deadline for this exciting program is May 1st.
