We are incredibly excited to welcome Project Happy Face as a beneficiary of Cancer Ski Out and to have their team joining us at HRI and Mt. Hood Meadows this year. 💙

Skin cancer is a real concern in the snow sports community. With long days at high elevation and constant sun exposure reflecting off the snow, many skiers and riders experience skin cancer scares or diagnoses. Expanding access to early detection and skin health education is an important part of Project Happy Face’s work, especially in rural and underserved communities, which is one of the many reasons we’re so excited to partner with them.

Members of the Project Happy Face mobile outreach team will be onsite at Meadows offering complimentary 15-minute skin cancer screenings for anyone interested. It’s a great opportunity to stay proactive about your skin health while supporting the mission of Cancer Ski Out.

A private screening area will be reserved for these quick appointments. You can schedule ahead or drop in if space is available.
