During The Midday Mix on Friday, hear from cellist Seth Parker Woods, who will be performing at Hannaford Hall with Portland Ovations in February, pianist Michelle Cann, who will be soloing with the The Portland Symphony Orchestra in their upcoming season, and saxophonist Steven Banks, who will be a part of the Portland Chamber Music Festival later this summer.

Inspired by the beloved film and featuring music by Grammy® Award winner Sara Bareilles, Waitress the Musical tells the story of Jenna, an expert pie maker who dreams of a way out of her small town. A baking contest and the town’s new doctor may offer her a fresh start, but Jenna must summon the strength to rebuild her own life.
