Kami specializes in the sourcing and planning of furniture, room layouts, finishes, fixtures, paint schemes, and home decor for full remodels, single room makeovers and new home construction. For renovations, including kitchens and bathrooms, she collaborates with her husband, a residential general contractor licensed and bonded in Oregon and Washington. Together

Kami’s design career began as a catalog set designer for brands like Pendleton, Nike, and Rejuvenation. Many years ago, it naturally took a turn towards designing interiors for residential clients. Her experience in set design provided years of exploring a variety of interior styles including rustic, traditional, transitional, modern, mid-century modern, contemporary, coastal, eclectic, and others. This has been invaluable to Kami as an interior home designer as she helps clients create the home that suits them and not force her design interests onto the process. Instead, she brings her impeccable taste, sourcing expertise, and design sensibilities and combines that with her client’s objectives, budget, and lifestyle. Kami is passionate about creating spaces that are stylish, functional, and unique no matter what the budget. She’s an expert at sourcing and thrives on the challenge of creating just the right look for the price that fits her client’s budget. Recent projects include a redesign of a kitchen and great room for a 1920s Sellwood home, a NE Portland living room makeover, transforming a dated kitchen in the Richmond neighborhood that was featured as "Kitchen of the Month" in Country Living Magazine February 2015, and fully furnishing a new home in Wilsonville for a family of five.
