COMPASSION FLOWS: Jane Goodall totally revolutionized how we think about other primates through her studies of chimpanzees. She has gone on as an animal welfare advocate and writes about keeping Hope. This is her website. Compassion Flows recognizes her lifetime of caring!

Dr. Jane Goodall, DBE | the Jane Goodall Institute In July 1960, at the age of 26, Jane Goodall traveled from England to what is today Tanzania and bravely entered the little-known world of wild chimpanzees. Beautiful picture, and a website you can use to help oceanlife!

June 8th is World Oceans Day. Degraded and stripped of their diversity, ocean ecosystems are losing their inherent resilience. We need to defend our oceans because without them, life on Earth cannot exist. Making changes in our daily lives often starts with awareness. Thank you for visiting Compassion Flows.

Compassion Flows is just getting started. As a social worker and animal lover I have seen many compassionate acts. Compassion Flows was developed as a format to share stories, discussion, and links that acknowledges compassion in the world. We have now made a link with Facebook and also a Compassion Flows blog. As we work out the kinks in our system, we appreciate your patience, and hope you will re-visit this Compassion Flows.

If you have a story to share, a link to a website or video or a photo you want to share, just put it on the blog, and we will consider sharing it. In the future, we will also be looking for volunteers to help look for stories, edit, and help us with the website.

At times, people will have differing opinions on our blog, and that is great--we want to stimulate discussion. We do ask you to not use derogatory language and especially encourage recognition of compassionate and courageous acts. After all, compassion often gives birth to courage.

We hope you will find this site heartwarming, inspiring, and something that will encourage compassion.
