Regenerative Life
Quick High Protein Options:
-Ripple is a pea protein based milk alternative. The unsweetened versions are a great way to drink protein throughout the day. I like the unsweetened vanilla Ripple the best.
-Nutmilk by Silk has unsweetened versions that are great for drinking protein throughout the day. I prefer the vanilla one.
-Edamame is an option for people that can have soy. Dried edamame is high in protein, high in fiber, & a good source of potassium. This is easy to eat on the go. The steamed edamame is a great addition to a meal.
-If you eat meat, jerky can be great. Make sure to read the ingredients to avoid the ones with sugar. I usually choose a low fat one as I keep a high protein diet for energy stability, muscle strength, and to have the muscle to help keep my bones strong.
Have a great weekend & save this to start working on increasing protein intake.
Stem cell therapy is well known, but what does that mean?
Typically, when people talk about stem cell therapy, they talk about taking stem cells from a person’s bone marrow or fat. Once these cells are processed to put back into the person, they are dead though they still have some benefits.
However, exosomes (messenger or commander packets) can be collected from the stem cells from sterile c-section placentas. These messenger packets have the instructions to tell a cell how to make about 33 different growth factors as opposed to the about 11 an adult will make. This means no reactions to someone else’s cells as no cells are being injected. What we see is healing that resembles that of a young child as opposed to healing like an adult which usually involves scar tissue.
These exosomes are stored frozen to avoid having them start to break down.
As an intravenous solution, our macrophages like to traffic these exosomes to the liver, kidney, spleen, & areas of inflammation. Nerves love to suck up these exosomes which is great as nerves generally have such issues healing when they are nicked or cut completely. Also, these exosomes can be injected right into areas of trouble with alternative options like aerosolizing when the lungs are the major target.
People tend to have increased quality of life, feel younger, feel more energetic, and the healing tends to surpass that of other therapies for a large portion of the conditions a person can have (ex. pain, altered sensation, ect).
Follow & share as we keep diving into healing & optimizing life.
Healing & repair 101:
-Vitamin C strengthens the ligaments & tendons by helping with hydroxylation of collagen within them. It is needed for healing. When it is low, we might bruise from a simple impact such as slamming into a piece of furniture.
-Zinc is needed for healing, but keeping it in balance with copper is important.
-Omega-3 fatty acids help control inflammation, help process/remove inflammatory fats, & help with stiffness/fluidity of tissues.
-Near Far Infrared Red Light Therapy helps with melatonin production, collagen production, energy, & a wide range of skin conditions.
-Collagen is a major component of our tissues that helps with elasticity.
-Protein helps to stabilize blood sugar levels, helps with energy, is a major component of muscle helping with muscle strength to stabilize structures, & helps with muscle to strengthen bone.
-Hormone balance is important to healing. Testosterone influences muscle mass/strength. Estrogen influences the thickness of tissues in women. Progesterone influences water metabolism/placement in women. Thyroid impacts healing, energy, strength, sleep, & more.
-Sometimes, our bodies need a little extra help. That is where exosomes & peptides come in. I’ll talk more about this later.
