Our project - Hillcrest Veterans Village - was a float in the Memorial Day parade in Grants Pass! It's clear this is a project that the whole community is excited about! We're even more thrilled to share that it's on track for the grand opening to be Veterans Day 2026! How fitting for this project! We of course want to thank our partners, Mid Rogue Foundation, Momentasize, Urban Resources Inc., Gerlitz, and many more - Thank you for all your hard work! We can't wait to see this community get the housing it needs 💛

CIDA had an incredible evening at 𝗔𝗹𝗹 𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗛𝗼𝗽𝗲 at the beautiful Waverley Country Club ✨🌊 Supporting The Salvation Army’s mission in the Portland Metro area—an organization we’ve proudly partnered with for over 30 years 🤝❤️
This event 𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝟭𝟰𝟬 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲, providing critical support like shelter, meals, safety, and care for individuals and families in need. Every dollar raised helps continue that life-changing work in our community.

And yes… we couldn’t resist a little fun! 🎉 Our team bid (and WON!) the iconic rainbow cake from Carlo’s Bake Shop—made famous on Cake Boss 🌈🍰 A sweet win for a great cause!

From inspiring stories to a lively silent auction and Dessert Dash, it was a memorable night filled with community, generosity, and impact.

🎉✂️ 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐚 𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭 𝐦𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭! CIDA was excited to celebrate the 𝐫𝐢𝐛𝐛𝐨𝐧-𝐜𝐮𝐭𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 for the newly updated 𝐓𝐒𝐀 𝐇𝐨𝐩𝐞 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐢𝐧 𝐇𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐨 last week. With more than 30 years of partnership with The Salvation Army, it’s incredibly rewarding to see another project come to life and make a real difference in our community. 💛🏘️

🌎✨ Wrapping up 𝗘𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗵 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸 the best way we know how, giving back to our community! Last week, CIDAites came together for a 𝗖𝗜𝗗𝗔 𝗚𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀 volunteer event with 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗧𝗿𝗲𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝘁 𝗧𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗸, helping spread mulch and making a tangible impact. Our team tackled an impressive 8 of 12 yards of mulch! 🌱💪

Our also invited everyone to share personal sustainability goals for the year, inspiring small actions that can make a big difference. From volunteering together to committing to greener habits, it was a meaningful way to celebrate Earth Week and do some good for our community. 💚
