✈️🚧 Helping Keep Travelers Safe During the Transformation of PDX 🚧✈️

CIDA partnered with AAI Engineering and the Hoffman/Skanska construction team to provide Occupant Safety Planning services for the PDX Next program, one of the largest airport improvement projects in the Pacific Northwest.

Our work supported the newly reopened Terminal Core (T-Core) and expansions to Concourses A, B, and E, helping ensure that public areas remained safe and accessible throughout construction. Working closely with the construction team, we developed code-compliant egress routes, implemented critical fire life safety measures, and coordinated structurally sound construction barriers to protect passengers while major improvements took shape around them.

We're proud to have played a role in delivering a safer, more seamless travel experience during the transformation of Portland International Airport. ✈️🦺🏗️🔥
