Our vintage pitch-bending and tube-based Vibrato amps are a studio guitar fav, and it's not hard to hear why.

Guitar: 1964 Fender Jazzmaster.
Amp 1. 1959 Magnatone Custom 260
Amp 2. 1963 Fender Pro

These vintage true vibrato circuits are amazing, with the most "seasick" vibrato on the planet: swirly, wet, round, fat and juicy.
All those adjectives.

Song: 'Birds Flying Low'

Let it bleed.
In an era of surgical audio precision, an intentionally organic approach can breathe glorious golden life into recordings, revealing the humanity behind the creators.

Recording drums and electric guitar simultaneously while cracking the iso room door just a little bit, allows for a beautiful aural interaction between them.

It's not consciously noticeable to the listener when appreciating the finished result, but when you solo each instrument you can hear the bleed occupying what would otherwise be pristine spaces.....And it makes a difference.

People describe the finished song using terms like warm, rich, organic etc.
-It's the sound of beautiful imperfection.

Grateful to every artist and engineer who worked out of our little studio in 2021.
The light of your creativity illuminates the darkness and warms the hearts of many.
Cheers to more in 2022 🌞

-eating doughnuts & making music at with &

A lot of people don't know that we at also own the biggest little vintage recording studio in Portland.

Instead of opening multiple ctrl+c shops we engaged all of our passions to give back to the creative community in new and different ways.

We offer our unique space and all the vintage instruments for musicians to use at no charge.
Any money exchanged is simply between the engineer and the artist. Our goal is to help everyone's hard-earned money stretch farther and to use the studio as an instrument itself, bringing more beauty into a world that desperately needs it.

Is this heaven?
Nick & Tyler from The Talbott Brothers certainly thought so. ( and they do sing like angels)
