It's that time of year for toxic algae in the Williamette. Please keep your dogs from swimming in these places.

One of our kitty patients was lost this week to a suspected lily toxicity. He went into acute kidney failure and despite treatment, did not recover. Please make sure you don't bring home any bouquets that contain lilies if you have cats in your home. Easter, Stargazer, Tiger, Asiatic Lilies and many other common species are very toxic to cats.
