Ibrahim Maalouf comes to The Den on June 22, fresh off the release of his highly anticipated new album, TRUMPETS OF MICHEL-ANGE VOL. 2.
One of the world’s most celebrated trumpet players, Maalouf has spent his career redefining what jazz can be—blending Arabic music, jazz improvisation, classical influences, funk, and contemporary global sounds into something entirely his own. His signature quarter-tone trumpet allows him to bridge musical traditions from around the world, creating a sound that is both innovative and deeply rooted in heritage.
The new album expands on the internationally acclaimed TRUMPETS OF MICHEL-ANGE project, which earned millions of streams and took Maalouf to more than 140 stages worldwide. Featuring collaborations with artists including Jon Batiste, Trombone Shorty, MonoNeon, Pedrito Martinez, Nai Barghouti, and Hamilton de Holanda, this new chapter explores connection, artistic freedom, and the power of music to bring cultures together.
