Here’s a peek 👀 of the finished colorways this week - the pale muted tones of blue and green - “Lakeside Embers” and the bright blues, yellows and pinks - “Summer Rain”. They’re both so pretty - I can’t wait to see what people make! I think I’ve set the website up correctly and the listing should turn on at 7:00pm EST. 🧶 $19/each - $8 flat rate shipping. I spent a long time trying to design the best project bags and accessories. I want them to be functional, I wanted them to be pretty, I wanted them to be washable, and most importantly - I wanted them to be affordable. And I think I nailed!

I love wooly, non-superwash yarn. 🧶 I love knitting with it, I love wearing it and yes - I even love the smell of it. 🐑 Unfortunately, it isn’t that common in the hand dyed yarn world - because it can be pretty tricky to dye. But I’ve gotten pretty good at it, and thought it would be fun to develop a group of hand dyed, tonal colorways for the shop from some of my favorite wooly wools. I’ll be adding different weights and colors as time goes by, but I thought I’d start with my favorite. A Woollen spun 100% Corriedale fi*****ng weight. Because of how it is spun, 100g yields 492 lofty yards - which work up like a sport weight. Isn’t that amazing?
We had a big run on Cascade Yarns Heritage the last couple of weeks - but we just restocked - and added a few new colors too!
