The original conference was founded by Will Vinton and ran throughout the 90′s and after 7 years away was brought back in 2008 by event Chairman Steve Gehlen as a non-profit fundraiser for arts education. The event is produced on behalf of the non-profit fiscal agent, Keeping the Arts, a public charity that raises money to support arts education in Oregon.
