This is the day to celebrate those who have the courage to stand up to injustice and inspire others to do the same. The term "peculiar people" may come from the Bible book Deuteronomy, where the phrase "chosen people" appears.

Saturday January 11th, let’s focus on Thank You Day and Gold Heart Day. Thank You Day is a day to remind us to express our gratitude to those who have made our lives better in some way. One of the main reasons for celebrating Gold Heart Day is to promote compassion and empathy. Let’s all celebrate by not only spreading kindness, but also by saying thank you to all those who are kind to us.
Sunday January 12 is Baptism Day, commemorating the baptism of Jesus in the Jordan River by John the Baptist. It is also National Sunday Supper Day. Let today inspire you to create a closer bond with your family members with shared mealtimes.
