I set myself a goal of reading 100 books this year (I did not read 100 books. I read 77 and 1/2 books). These are the 8 I found most important, most touching, most my favorite.
Books are such powerful conduits, I owe so much of myself to what I’ve read in books by Black feminists, by Palestinian scholars, by indigenous women of Turtle Island, by qu**rs all over the world.
Let your books radicalize you, maybe one or two of these will awaken things in you that you did not know were sleeping, too.
