For this public art project, utilize the metal rings that are located on various sidewalks around Portland, Oregon. (The rings have been embedded in the concrete curbs since they were actually used to secure horses and
carriages.) First, acquire a toy horse and locate a ring. Third, leave the horse
there just as one would have left their actual horse a hundred years ago. Yours is a

We revisited this Portland scavenger hunt in honor of the Year of the Horse What started as a public art project of tying toy horses to these rings, has now become a city legend.
