A reminder about our self-storing farmhouse extension tables. Custom sizes and finishes available. This one is made out of solid local alder and has storage compartments at both ends. Starts at 90 inches and extends to 144 in (12 feet) seating 12. Can seat 22 if you squish people like sardines along each bench.

Solid CHERRY farmhouse table, yes we have started building with cherry, and it doesn't have to go bright red. Advantages are wider planks without corresponding giant knots; nicer figure with chatoyance; gorgeous color with more natural variation; and extra hardness. It's a dream on the lathe, distresses and takes color very well. We do multiple bleach passes to get it as light and lively as seen here. For the time being, we are offering these at the same price as our alder pieces.

If you get a chance to visit New York City, you can dine at O'Cuisine, where chef Anne O'Hare will make you a very nice meal. It is a private dining experience, as the restaurant has only one table, and it is a chevron extension table built by us! The two leaves have the chevron top pattern continuing uninterrupted throughout. We matched an antique table leaf for this rich warm antiqued finish. Chef Anne was so wonderful to work with, and we are certain that a meal at her restaurant would be top-rate. She also offers classes.
