Full Heart Healing

Whether you have aches and tension that need to be addressed, feelings of dis-ease within the body that you can’t quite put a finger on, energetic tenderness or hardness that could use some compassion, or need to elevate your mood - massage is perfect medicine.

Touch healing is always of great importance, but can feel extra potent during times of stress or fatigue. Swedish, deep tissue, MLD (manual lymphatic drainage), craniosacral therapy and fascial release techniques can be blended to fit your unique needs. Cupping, gua sha, energetic healing work, aromatherapy and flower essence therapy are woven into every session, as needed or requested.

She has arrived.
Her colors and textures, her aromas and light. Spring has begun revealing herself to Portland, and my body lets out a big sigh of relief with every, tiny daffodil sighting. Find a royal daphne bush, breathe in as much as you are able of her unparalleled aroma. Search for a fuchsia camelia bloom in the tip tops of her commanding trees, right where the light hits. Notice the little green newness blanketing everything you pass on your walk.

This moment is so rich and powerful, and fleeting. Be open to every moment of it.

*Mindfulness exercise - be still outside (in your neighborhood, at a park, in your yard) and engage the Spring with all of your senses. What do you hear? See? Smell? Taste? Touch? What shifts do you sense, and how does it all make you feel?
