Rowing up the Willamette to the no-wake zone on the east side of Ross Island is the best water for rowing in Portland. Rowing down the Willamette we pass through downtown Portland and all its high-rise buildings. All in all, we can navigate up to nine different bridges and row as far away as Oregon City or Vancouver Washington!

Fun Fact: Unlike in many other sports, you can begin rowing in late high school or college and still advance to the elite levels of the sport! No experience? No problem!

Fun Fact: You don't need to know how to swim in order to row at Rose City. If you know any middle schoolers interested in a water sport, rowing could be the one!
