We are at it again!!
We’ve just finished setting up a new space at the beautiful in Vancouver (Grand opening tomorrow!) and we are so excited to be a part of this space. Every single vendor in there has done an incredible job and we are proud to sell alongside them all. Please go check it all out and while you’re there go grab some Mexican at around the corner.

We’ve got a little bit of everything- handmade furniture, MCM furniture and dishes, some antique pieces, art, books, and jewelry.

The stunning artwork on the wall is all original and created by our friend and we think it fits into the space just perfectly.

We haven’t posted in awhile because we’ve been super busy, but I thought I’d post one of our own pieces (shout out to David Lawrence for the help) instead of all those mid century pieces we’ve been posting. This is a solid wood (no veneer here) of an exotic West African species called Shedua. It’s as pretty in person (or table) as the pictures suggest, and at 75.5” x 33.5” x 29” high it will seat 6 comfortably and maybe even eight. The legs are from a modern table with walnut cross beams and seems to compliment the slab perfectly. Anyway, it’s currently in our space on the second floor against the back wall. Come check it out tomorrow during our after dark extravaganza with drinks and a DJ. Open until 10. Oh, and the table is $1200.

A few of my favorite things.

We just put out a gorgeous walnut mid century modern table and four chairs I just refinished the table top and was amazed at how beautiful the wood was when I sanded it….before I put a finish on it. It’s not veneer, but all solid black walnut, and truly some of the prettiest character Ive ever seen in walnut. One of the chairs was cracked (probably from leaning back in it) and so I glued it and refinished it. You won’t notice it unless you’re looking for it and it feels plenty sturdy, just don’t lean back on it, or any of the chairs for that matter. If it wasn’t for the cracked chair I’d probably ask $1600, but $1200 and it’s yours. Drop us a line or go check it out for yourself at The Memory Den in SE portland. That is as all.

Come on down to and check out these amazing new mid century modern lamps by Underwriters Laboratory I just put out. Now that’s glass not paper on these beauties, and at approximately 16” wide at its widest and 36” tall (that’s a whopping 3 feet for all you mathematically challenged people out there) these lamps are truly one of a kind….except there are two of them. Anyway, currently for sale at Phi, located upstairs and against the back wall at The Memory Den. Come check them out and peek in the other 140 vendors while you’re there. You’ll be a better person for it.
