Benson Polytechnic High School Track & Field

It’s finally starting to hit me that my coaching career is winding down. Tonight was my last senior night as a head coach. And this was a great group of seniors to send me off. Hard working. Committed. Respectful. And they all look out for their younger teammates. I’m couldn’t ask for a better group to be my last.

All that’s left is district and state, and then this 25 year coaching career comes to an end. At least for now. I love the sport. I love the kids. The rainbows were a fitting sign for new beginnings. Now it’s time for the next chapter.

Thank you to everyone who helped make the Benson Tech Invitational a huge success. Our kids performed well and all the teams left with a great experience. And now to start planning for an even better BTI for next year.
