The Portland Mercado is a community economic development initiative by the regional Latino community and Hacienda CDC. We are a cross-sector development with both private, federal and local government funding. We are a collective of 19 start-ups bringing people together at our Portland-style replication of a Latin American public marketplace. We are indoor grocery with fresh meats, a beer and wine

On June 19, we honor Juneteenth—a powerful reminder of Black liberation, resilience, and joy. At Hacienda, we celebrate by uplifting Black voices, businesses, and community power.
One meaningful way to celebrate Juneteenth is by supporting Black-owned businesses. A delicious example? Lili Mae’s Confections — a proud Empresarios client, serving up southern-style sweets that nourish the soul.

The food inspector has given us the green light and food carts will officially open TOMORROW January 26th at 11AM for take out ONLY. Some food carts have already opened (Tita's Kitchen and Fernando's Alegria)
