I made it into U P P E R C A S E magazine!!!!!!!! I may have screamed a little (or a lot), and yes, probably scared the boys. But I made it!!! I can't believe it. 674 submissions and they narrowed it down to 100 to be published in the Surface Pattern Design Guide (issue #41...coming out in early April). Since I've pretty much never made a pattern before (okay, I made one in 2012..does that count?), AND, Uppercase is such a pie-in-the-sky-dream magazine, I'm extra, extra excited. These are the nine images I submitted, though I don't think I'll know which ones they picked until the issue comes out.
