Recently I went back to Goat Rocks Wilderness and was reminded how much I love this view. This time there was snow and the abstraction of it was so inspiring to me. I’m going to have to paint another one!

Painting small in the backcountry allows me to get farther along in the painting before hiking on:) I do still have fomo for big paper, it will return! Here are some pieces from a week or so ago in Goat Rocks Wilderness in Washington. Which one is your favorite?
