OryCon is Oregon’s premier, fan run, annual science fiction/fantasy convention held in Portland since 1979. After taking our convention online for a free mini-con in 2020, we’re planning on hosting our con in person for Orycon 42 November 12th - 14th, 2021*! We are retaining our original theme for OryCon 42 of “Humor, Satire, and Parody in Science Fiction and Fantasy”. With this in mind, we are pl
eased to announce that memberships are still available at the current rate of $50 until July 15th, 2021, with discounted rates for youth memberships. If you have not already done so, please register at:
$60 from July 16, 2021 until October 15, 2021
$75 at the door
As attendance may be subject to capacity limitations, we will be limiting our capacity. Previously purchased memberships prior to postponement of our in-person convention in 2020 are still currently registered, but for verification and confirmation of status, please email [email protected]. Each OryCon, we invite Guests of Honor from the science fiction and fantasy realms to be a part of our experience. Lee Martinez, an award winning traditional fantasy novelist and author of The Constance Verity Trilogy. If you are planning to attend in person, now is the time to lock in your reservation, as rooms may be limited! Click on the link to book your room today:

We're looking forward to seeing the friendly (potentially masked) faces of our members and fellow Sci-Fi/Fantasy fans! Let us know what you’re looking forward to or hoping for at this year’s OryCon!
