Taking a short work break to feel overwhelmed and sad and anxious for exactly ten minutes. Then I'll lock that s**t down and get back to work. This has been my strategy for the last year and a half and it keeps me functioning. Is it maladaptive? I don't know. But it keeps me going. And we need to keep going.
I wanna talk about beavers. Because what if we decided not to be like this? We don't have to be like this.
