Teaching Riley communication with obstacles at Liberty.

In this video, I have set up a tarp with some cones creating a bridge. This is the first time introducing the obstacle to Riley. Watch Riley’s expression, as I ask her to inspect the obstacle and then walk through the cones. Horses are highly intelligent animals and they love to learn. Teaching communication at Liberty engages their mind and encourages focus. It is also a positive way to build trust, respect and authentic leadership. Plus, it’s just a lot of fun!

Riley is so much fun at Liberty! This is a video from our first session together in my pasture. She is eager to engage and really enjoys this connection exercise. It’s always great to see such wonderful enthusiasm, especially in the beginning. I am also very impressed with how well Riley listens and follows my cues. The ease and grace as she responds to my call in is just beautiful.
