Backyard weddings…I’d say most vendors (and clients) have a bit of a love hate relationship here. If you think getting married in your back yard will be easier or may save you some money, you are likely wrong 😂

Don’t get me wrong I love backyard weddings, look at this absolute MAGIC! But they come with challenges you may not be expecting.

Biggest advice - lean on your team of experts and have many walkthroughs.

ALSO….👇🏻
+ rent bathrooms
+ make sure you have a power source and or generator(s)
+ allocate the correct amount of time to fix up any yard space prior to ensure they are done in time for the event
+ understand the sprinkler system you may have in your yard 🤣
+ make a solid and reliable rain plan (uneven surfaces or inability to stake can complicate tent options)
+ double your budget for rentals - backyards typically mean lots of stairs and additional hours of setup/labor.
