From April 25th to May 6th, the 123rd Combat Weather Flight integrated with the Army for training at Fort Hunter Ligget in California. The joint effort allows the Army to carry out their Air Assault and Medivac missions safely and with efficiency with provided weather forecasts and plans from the weather flight. The 123rd Combat Weather Flight exists under the 142nd Operations Group withing the 142nd Wing at the Portland Air National Guard Base, providing the Air Force and the Army ,particularly, with on scene forecasting.
