This year, I was selected as one of the recipients of the grant. What a blessing and honor it is to be amongst such a strong cohort of artists. This grant has paved way for some of my dreams to become a reality including recording a FULL LENGTH STUDIO ALBUM!!!!

To kick off the start of this new chapter, I will be hosting an Album Kick Off Show at the Interstate Firehouse Cultural Center on June 12th at 7pm. The band will be performing songs from the last two EPs as well as a few songs that are going to be on the new album. On top of that, the Covington Chamber Orchestra will be the openers, with me as their conductor. I’m looking forward to sharing the stage with my hardworking students and also providing them with this opportunity!

💵 Sliding Scale of $10-25, $5 for students of the band. 20% of the proceeds go directly to my orchestras at Covington.

The year is 2016 and it felt like it was the most unhinged era of my life 🥴 But this gal walked so I could run! I wasn’t aware of my potential and I was comfortable living on the sidelines of my peers’ successes. I kinda lost my shine and wasn’t quite sure how or if I’d get it back. It was the year I let my insecurities win… But she was resilient enough to make me the confident clown that I am today and I cannot thank her enough.

Funny enough, the first time I ever stepped my lil toes on the Crystal Ballroom’s stage as a performer was with ’s Symphony Orchestra and that was such a huge highlight for me. Never did I imagine that I would get to play on that stage not once, but twice as a bandleader performing my own songs! We’re hitting the stage for the second time this year on Friday, January 30th at 6:30 pm for the ! Come hang with us! Tickets are in the linkipoo. Doubt’s not the winner, loves. See you soon 💕

I’ve never intentionally put on a softer show— I’m always asked to open as a duo and never really thought of curating an evening catered towards a softer crowd… until now! I really enjoy doing the quiet, more intimate thing. It’s definitely an emotional exchange.
