We are grieving alongside our community after the loss of a longtime worker at the Shalom House, Inc. — someone who dedicated her life to supporting people living with serious mental illness.
This work is deeply meaningful. It is also incredibly hard.
Every day, people in this field step into unpredictable, high-stakes situations to help others find safety, stability, and care. They do it with compassion, even when it’s difficult. Even when it’s heavy.
That kind of commitment deserves to be seen.
We are sharing this GoFundMe to support her family and to honor a life spent showing up for others in their most vulnerable moments.
