Ascension Day: A Rookie Anglican Guide 05/14/2026

Today is the 40th Day of Easter and the day our Risen Lord ascended into heaven. Pentecost followed ten days later. For centuries, Ascension Day was a red-letter day in the church calendar but has fallen into neglect in recent years.
