As we observe National Immunization 💉Awareness Month this August, Ascent Healthcare is dedicated to promoting the importance of vaccinations for all ages. As we age, our immune systems may weaken, making older adults more vulnerable to serious illnesses. Immunizations can prevent conditions like influenza, pneumonia, and shingles, significantly protecting quality of life. Immunizations are key to preventing the spread of infectious diseases and ensuring a healthier future for our community.

Ascent Healthcare was grateful for the opportunity to present at the Optum Care Network, Portland IPA Grant event 2024 in a lovely venue in Lake Oswego.
We presented on our grant project, "Closing Care Gaps with Diabetic Retinopathy Screenings" where we partnered with the Pacific Medical Group clinics Praxis Health Pacific Medical Group Pacific Medical Group Pacific Medical Group.
We utilized the RetinaVue700 to partner with 3 PMG clinics and trialed at Cedar Sinai Park ALF/SNF completing diabetic retinopathy screenings.
