Here is a tip you can use to close more sales. Use this phrase: What would happen if you...... Because in a sale lots of prospects have trouble visualizing the future, you can help them build a movie of your product or service working for them. You can also build a movie of not having your product or service and experiencing greater loss. The more you add pictures,sounds, feelings, smell, and taste better it works. For example, if you are selling hot tubs and say to the prospect, What would happen if you were soaking in your new hot tub with your wife and your favorite beverage, talking, relaxing, building romance. etc.
Here is a sales tip you might use. When a prospect says there is no way they will buy from you. Ask them what would cause you to buy from me today? Another one is What prevents you from buying from me today? These questions are used as a last-ditch effort to close the sale. Always remember to stay in the same body position and match their voice tone and speed for best results.
