Latino Network is grateful to Governor Kotek and the Oregon Legislature for advancing and signing into law a suite of bills aimed at strengthening Oregon's behavioral health workforce and expanding access to mental health and addiction services. This will make it easier for people in the Latine communities we serve to access the care they need. We were proud to send members of our Health & Wellness team to be present at the bill signing.

We specifically want to congratulate the University of Oregon's Ballmer Institute for SB1547, which creates a credential for behavioral health professionals that will specifically be trained to work with adolescents.
