Hello. I’ve been trying to find and share a little love and joy lately. So here’s what has brought me immense joy to create in 2025. My goal is always to share some joy with the world through my art. Slowing down to look closely at the incredible beauty found in the details of nature all around us is the essence of where these paintings come from. These are all PNW plants and mushrooms indigenous to the area, with a few crystals, a bee, and a giant silk moth in there too. I had way less time to paint this past year than in other years, so for half of the year I focused on a series of smaller pieces that were quicker to paint and easy to take on outdoor adventures. Wishing you some of the joy, gentleness and wonder that can be found in the forest.

Happy New Year everyone! I hope you’ve had a warm and peaceful start to winter. My current exhibit at ends on Tuesday at 5pm. I’ll be heading over there today to enjoy a coffee and be in this welcoming place with 25 of my paintings. If you want to see the show stop in before 5pm tomorrow, 1/6/26.
