We are often presented with opportunities to step out of our comfort zone and with that comes fear. Not long ago, I found myself on the historic 420 foot tall steel tress bridge. (The tallest steel bridge in the United States). I announced that I wasn’t going onto the bridge. Then as I watched others walk on the bridge and even get close to the edge and look down, I decided I had to at least give it a shot. So with legs shaking, stomach churning, I shuffled onto the bridge. I was careful to stay as close to the middle of the bridge as possible. While I didn’t make it to the other side of the bridge and only shuffled less than half way across the bridge, I still felt accomplished. It felt good that I had at least made it onto the bridge which was a win in my book. This serves as a great reminder for all of us.

When presented with opportunities that bring fear, do as much as you can to move into that fear. Little by little it shapes who we are and how we show up for ourselves. Are you ready to do something that causes a little fear? Do something today that is out of your comfort zone. On the other side of you showing up for yourself and doing what is fearful to you only upgrades your energy. We all benefit from upgrades to our energy. So have Fun and show up for yourself today and jump into that fear!
