The program will begin with a screening of Athanor (Philippe Garrel, 1972), featuring Nico, with a live soundtrack by Ceremonial Abyss, followed by nearly a dozen shorts by NW makers.

Passages is closed while I am on the road, making my annual fall sales trip through the West. The shop will reopen on Nov. 17.
If you are in or near Denver during the next week or two, you can catch the city's Biennial of the Americas. As part of the Reading Room in the festival, organized by Rick Griffith of MATTER, I'll be reading with friends Maureen Owen, Jenny Dorn, and Michael Klausman this coming Monday. We'd love to see you there.
