Lighting Basics for Film and Video
Learn the basics of lighting for film and video during a two-day workshop with a local director of photography, Kevin Forrest.
You will learn how to create an effective lighting set up for an interview subject and a narrative scene using key, fill and backlights. Learn how to properly use tools like scrims, diffusion, flags, and bounce cards/reflectors. There will be a demonstration on lighting a scene and all of the safety precautions that go into making your film set safe and professional.
This will be a small workshop on Saturday October 7th from 10:00am-4:00pm and Sunday October 8th from 10:00am-4:00pm.
