A beautiful fall morning at Silver Falls State Park.

Throwback to our quick October trip to Leavenworth last year. This was the evening before the first real snowfall of the season. Can't wait to get back here soon!

Something a bit different than what I usually do. This is a composite of Death Valley sand dunes and the Orion Nebula (M42). The Orion Nebula is 1344 light years away and has a radius of 12 light years.
Can't wait for my new ZWO monochrome camera to get here so I can start playing with more detailed and smaller deep space targets. I have way to much time on my hands right now.
