PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT:

if your wonderful instrument hurts your hands because of the shape of the neck, it may be possible to adjust the neck carve and save yourself a bit of grief! The owner of this 2003 Collings MT2 mandolin has struggled with its sharp v-shaped neck for the 13 years he has owned it (!). After discussing the possibilities and contacting Collings, we were able to remove 1/16" from the back of the neck, and it seems to have been a game-changer!
