Workdays aren’t all bad especially ones where you get to take in scenery like this…

Although that smooth pavement at the completion of a project is the most noticeable things for the traveling public, there is a of work that needs to happen to ensure that that fresh pavement lasts for as long as possible. Adjusting catch basins to ensure proper roadway drainage is just as important as that final layer of pavement to ensuring a project has a long-lasting impact on the community.

Freeport is on track for more housing!

Acorn was excited to take part in last week’s groundbreaking for Depot Terraces, a 45 unit workforce housing project in Town of Freeport. Just steps from the Downeaster and Main Street, this development is perfectly sited to support the Town’s growing housing needs. Congratulations to Domus (Hebert Construction, LLC + Avesta Housing), and all the project partners driving this important project forward!
