USA Fencing — Welcome to Portland 🤺
Portland is officially home to the world’s largest fencing event, and it’s happening right now.
USA Fencing’s Summer Nationals runs through July 6 at the Oregon Convention Center, bringing more than 6,000 elite fencers from across the country to our city, plus an estimated 12,000+ total guests. That’s over $10 million in economic impact for Portland’s hotels, restaurants, and small businesses.
Competitors range from 7 to 89 years old, including 170 local qualifiers from the Portland metro area. This is Portland’s biggest sports tourism moment of the year and it’s free to attend.
