This weekend is a great time to go outside and enjoy the festivities around Portland.

Just 5 days away from the start of the 82nd Avenue of Roses Parade, so stop by and say hello to our east side friends! In celebration of their 20th anniversary, they are putting together a massive three-day festival featuring a carnival, farmers market, and car show. Just a reminder, it all starts this Saturday at 12 PM!

Amazing work being done to help clean up the oceans.

Last week, together with Sustainable Coastlines Hawaii, we analyzed 12,000 kg of plastic collected with System 03 in 2024. Our goal is to identify the sources and geographic origins of this debris, and compare data on plastic floating in the Great Pacific Garbage Patch with plastic found on Hawaii’s shorelines.
