We are delighted to recognize Jazz Treber as MJCC's Pillar Employee for June! Jazz is being recognized for B’ruchim Ha’baim – Welcome! In their role in Member Services at the MJCC’s Welcome Desk, Jazz welcomes members and guests and provides information and assistance regarding programs, services and registration.

Jazz joined the J’s Membership Department in April 2024 as a Welcome Desk Attendant on weekends. They have provided consistency and continuity in this role, getting to know the community members who regularly use the facilities and attend classes and programs on weekends.

Jazz is a true team player and often helps out during the week, as well, especially when their colleagues need coverage due to illness or vacations. In fact, when the MJCC’s Fitness Department was particularly short-staffed, Jazz trained to work as a Fitness Attendant in order to meet a critical need.

Staff, guests and MJCC members alike appreciate Jazz’s easygoing, supportive nature, as well as their sharp sense of humor. They are genuinely happy to help in any way and can always be depended
upon to do whatever is necessary to resolve a challenge. Most of the management team and support staff are off on the weekends, and Jazz does an impressive job of troubleshooting issues with technology and/or the member database to ensure that things run smoothly on Saturdays and Sundays.

Jazz is a great communicator, as well. They always read and reply to emails quickly, and their reports and logs are detailed and helpful.
Jazz is a valued member of our team who is helpful, independent, clever, and conscientious. Most importantly, they work hard to ensure that everyone feels that they belong at the J. Thanks for all that you do, Jazz – we’re lucky to have you on Team J!
