Great news! We just received a letter from Portland Public Schools confirming that they are restoring all adaptive PE teachers in their 2020-21 budget. This is a wonderful development and we applaud Superintendent Guerrero and the PPS School Board for making equality a priority. Thanks for speaking up. We saved Portland PE...again!
Please contact PPS board members now to save physical education and wellness of our children. The proposed 2020-21 budget will cut PE teachers, including those who specialize in adaptive physical education for physically challenged children.
