An Activist. An Icon.
Marsha P. Johnson paved many ways. Known for being on the frontlines during the resistance at The Stonewall Inn on June 28, 1969, Marsha P. Johnson was one of the most prominent figures of the gay rights movement of the 1960s and 1970s in New York City.
We are honored to have our culturally specific program that supports LGBTQIA+ survivors be named in her legacy- the Marsha’s Folx Program.
