Maybelle’s Old Town Choir will perform with the combined Portland State University Choirs in a big concert in two weeks (Friday, May 29)!

Join the audience to support and celebrate this culminating performance of joyful, heartfelt growth. Our Old Town Community Choir is an incredible collaboration with Portland State University's Social Justice Choir and we are delighted to be finding our voice and building community alongside them. A couple weeks back we had a new activity in the Community Room: circle folding!

Have you noticed the world is full of squares- both literal and metaphorical? Turns out, doing things differently on purpose can inspire a lot of reflection and self expression. Even just trying to fold a paper plate into a new, dynamic shape. Exploring the world around us and our rich inner lives together is so meaningful. Keep your eyes peeled for next time the paper plates come out!
