Proper leashing walking in the eyes of a dog trainer is the dog walking beside you with a loose “U” shape in the leash. 🦮
The best way to have control over your dog while walking them is making sure you have a hand on the loop end of the leash and an “anchor” hand half way down the leash controlling how much length you want to allow your dog to have while on leash. ⚓️
