The third McCabe/Savage thriller, Darkness First, has finally been sent off to editors in New York and London. This is the first book in the series to feature Maggie Savage as the key protagonist.

Tops in 2010! The Cutting and The Chill were two of the top ten fiction books (most often checked out) at the Portland Public Library for the last half of 2010. Steig Larrson and James Patterson were the only other writers to score doubles. Here's the complete list:
